Off-the-rack clothing is cut to a fixed set of standard sizes and finished before you ever see it. Made-to-measure starts from your individual measurements, posture, and preferences, and the garment is cut and constructed specifically for you.

The result is a far more precise fit — without the cost or number of fittings that a fully bespoke commission requires.

Every commission begins with a private, one-on-one appointment. We take your measurements, discuss how and where the garment will be worn, and help you choose cloth, cut, and details.

Your garment is then made to those specifications and refined at a follow-up fitting, so the final piece is exactly right.

Fittings are held privately in Boston's South End by appointment. If it's easier for you, we can also come to you within the greater Boston area and beyond.

Most commissions are ready four to eight weeks after your first fitting, depending on the garment, the cloth, and the current schedule.

If you have a specific date in mind — a wedding, an event, a new role — tell us early and we'll plan around it.

Pricing depends on the garment, the cloth, and the construction you choose. We'll walk through the options together at your appointment, so you can decide with full transparency before committing to anything.

Alongside suits, we make sport coats, trousers, overcoats, denim, chinos, and other tailored garments. If there's something specific you have in mind, raise it at your appointment, and we'll talk it through.

Full wardrobing is a more considered way to build your closet over time, rather than commissioning one garment at a time. We start with a conversation about your work, travel, and life — then plan a coordinated wardrobe of suits, jackets, trousers, and shirting designed to mix, layer, and carry you through every occasion.
